The fuel run is the most expensive trip on your site
A loader that drives off the pad to refuel isn’t moving dirt. A foreman who leaves to fill cans isn’t running the crew. Multiply that by every machine, every day, and fuel becomes one of the biggest hidden labor costs on the job.
Construction site fuel delivery takes that trip off the schedule. Our driver comes to the site, fuels each machine by wet hose, tops off the generators and light towers, and leaves an itemized ticket. Equipment starts the shift full, and nobody on your payroll is pumping fuel.
Fuel demand also shifts as the project moves. Site prep and excavation burn the most diesel. Structural and finishing phases lean on generators, lifts and compressors. We resize drops and frequency phase by phase instead of running the same order for 15 months. For the full playbook, read our construction site fuel management guide.

Where jobsites run dry
Usually Friday afternoon or the first cold morning. Equipment burned harder than planned, nobody checked the tank, and the local supplier is closed until Monday. A scheduled route plus a monitored tank removes both failure points. For everything else, dispatch answers 24/7.
Every machine on site, from the excavator to the light tower
If it burns diesel or gasoline, it’s on the route. We fuel it where it’s parked so nothing has to crawl off the pad.
Earthmoving
Excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, graders and loaders. The heaviest burn on the site, so they get fueled first.
Cranes and lifting
Cranes, telehandlers, boom and scissor lifts. Fueled around the pick schedule, not in the middle of it.
Haul and support trucks
Dump trucks, service trucks and pickups. Clear on-road diesel or gasoline, billed apart from your dyed fuel.
Concrete equipment
Pumps, mixers and finishing machines, topped off before the pour starts.
Generators and light towers
Site power for tools, trailers and temporary offices, plus lighting for night work.
Compressors, pumps and welders
The small units that run all shift and get forgotten until they stop.
We fuel commercial and residential builds, road and infrastructure work, industrial facilities, mining operations and data center construction.
Build the fuel program the project needs
Most sites use two or three of these. Dispatch matches them to your access, equipment count and burn rate.
Off-road diesel delivery
Red-dyed, tax-exempt diesel for equipment that never runs on a public road. The bulk of most jobsite fuel.
Off-road dieselMobile wet-hose fueling
We fuel each machine individually, usually overnight or before start time, so the crew walks up to full tanks.
Mobile fuelingGenerator fueling
Scheduled fills for site generators and light towers, with emergency response when one runs low.
Generator fuelingFuel tank rentals
Double-walled, forkliftable fuel cubes and towable tanks, delivered set up and full.
Tank rentalsOn-road diesel
Clear diesel for dump trucks, service trucks and anything with a plate on it.
On-road dieselDEF delivery
ISO 22241 DEF for Tier 4 equipment and trucks, in jugs, drums, totes or bulk.
DEF deliveryAlso on the same account: gasoline delivery for small engines and pickups, and emergency fuel delivery when a schedule breaks.
No storage on site? We bring the tank, set up and full
Most jobsites don’t have permanent storage and shouldn’t need it. A rental tank moves with the work and leaves when the project closes.
FuelCube portable tanks
Double-walled and forkliftable, in 250, 500, 1,000 and 1,800 gallons. Reposition them as the work moves across the site.
Towable trailer tanks
500 and 990 gallons on a trailer, for spread-out work like road jobs where equipment is strung along miles of corridor.
Pumps and fuel management
Battery-operated pumps for sites without power. Fuel management systems track usage by machine or operator, and monitoring schedules refills before you run low.
Terms that match the job
Monthly billing, from one month for a short job to 15+ months for a long build.
Storing more than 1,320 gallons of petroleum on site generally brings federal SPCC rules into play, so we size tanks with that threshold in mind. Check yours with the tank size calculator or see every tank we rent.

Construction fueling questions
Can you fuel equipment overnight while the site is closed?
Yes. Overnight and pre-shift wet-hose rounds are the most common setup on construction sites. We agree access in advance, whether that’s a gate code, a lockbox or a site contact, and the driver fuels each machine where it’s parked.
Should construction equipment run on dyed or clear diesel?
Equipment that never travels on public roads can legally run on dyed diesel, which is sold without highway tax. Anything registered for road use, like dump trucks and service pickups, needs clear diesel. We deliver both and invoice them as separate line items so your tax treatment stays clean.
What size fuel tank does a jobsite need?
It depends on daily burn and how often you want deliveries. Many jobsites run fuel cubes between 250 and 1,800 gallons. Bigger or longer projects step up to bulk tanks, and our rental range goes from 119 to 17,000 gallons. The tank size calculator gives a quick starting point.
Is there a minimum delivery?
No minimum gallons. We deliver anything from a small top-off to 4,400 gallons per tank wagon drop, and transport loads up to 7,500 gallons.
Can you handle fuel for several projects at once?
Yes. Contractors running multiple jobs get one dispatch line, delivery in all 50 states and consolidated billing, with every delivery itemized by site.
Do you deliver DEF for Tier 4 equipment?
Yes. We deliver ISO 22241 DEF in jugs, drums, totes or bulk, usually on the same visit as the diesel, so SCR-equipped machines don’t derate halfway through a shift.
What if we run low unexpectedly?
Call 800-720-4546. Dispatch is staffed 24/7, 365 days a year, and emergency delivery is available. On monitored tanks, low-level alerts flag the problem before equipment shuts down.
